Very often we don’t give students the nuts and bolts of what they need to do to keep their information safe and secure. Students are often very lax about sharing information and passwords and quick to sign into any public network that they can find. They will go talk with friends and leave their phone or laptop out an open. These are all very bad habits to get into but fairly easy to correct with instruction.
The most important step in digital safety and security is to think before you click. You need to be aware of sites that you visit and keep your passwords safe.
